British Pacific Properties

British Pacific Properties Limited is a real estate development company founded in 1931 by the Guinness brewing family to purchase and develop approximately 4,000 acres of land in West Vancouver, British Columbia, from the Capilano River to Horseshoe Bay. The company acquired the land during the Great Depression to rescue the municipality from bankruptcy, building infrastructure like roads and developing it into the prestigious British Properties residential community. It remains active today, continuing to develop the land and maintaining its legacy through projects like the Capilano Golf & Country Club.
